GRAY WHALE MIGRATION

Gray whales migrate south along the California coast from January
through March. The whales migrate from the cold arctic waters to
the warm waters of Mexico, where the calves are born. Whales can
often be seen (with binoculars) from a high point along the coast.
To see the whales up close, a boat trip with trained guides can
be a memorable experience.
