For Our Tenants:
Vessel Registration:
All slip tenants are required to provide proof of valid California
vessel registration or
United States Coast Guard documentation, and to provide proof on
request.
Liability Insurance:
Each tenant must have liability insurance (what kind of insurance
and how much), and be able to provide proof of insurance on request.
Assigned Slips:
Vessels must be kept in their assigned slip. Use of vacant or empty
slips may result in your
vessel being impounded.
No use of vacant or empty slips is permitted. Do not allow visitors
to moor in empty slips.
Liveaboard Policy:
County Code 19.12.1110 reads: no person shall, within a county
harbor, waterway, or maritime
facility, use any vessel, floating home, houseboat, or any other
floating facility as an abode
in excess of three days within any one-week period unless
such person shall first have authorization by the lessee, agent,
manager or person in charge of such facility for liveaboard status,
and secondly, have obtained a liveaboard permit from the harbor
master.
All tenants must adhere to County Code, or you will risk termination
of your slip permit.
Sale, Transfer or Gifting of Vessels:
If you sell, gift or transfer title to your vessel, five days before
the sale, transfer or gifting, you must provide
Anchorage 47 with written notice of intent. Slips cannot be transferred
to the new owner.
Notice of Cancellation or Termination:
All cancellations must be in writing, and received 30 days in advance.
All notices of cancellation
must be mailed to:
Los Angeles County Department of Beaches and Harbors
ATTN: Anchorage 47
13575 Mindanao Way
Marina del Rey CA 90292
You may also fax your notice to 310-821-1621, and mark it ATTN:
Marina Manager. Or you can send
e-mail to the Marina
Manager.
Do not put your notice of cancellation in with your payment, as
payments are handled by a separate group, and the notice will not
be recorded.
Payment of Slip Fees:
Invoices are mailed approximately 15-17 days in advance of the due
date.
Slip fees are due on the 1st day of each month. Late fees will
be assessed after the 15th day of each
month. If the 15th falls on a Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or County
Holiday, payments must be received by
preceeding Thursday in order to avoid late fees. Due to the generous
grace period extended to
Anchorage 47 permittees, late fees will not be waived. No exceptions.
In person payments can only be accepted by our Financial Services
Section, Monday through Thursday
7:00am-6:00pm. Payments will not be accepted Friday, Saturday, Sunday,
or County Holidays. Please
consult the payment calendar link below for further information
regarding due dates, grace periods,
and days of operation.
Anchorage 47 currently does not accept on-line payments. As an alternative,
we strongly
recommend that you contact your financial institution regarding
various automatic
bill pay options.
Any additional questions can be directed to the Marina Manager at
310-301-9152.
Anchorage 47 management's goal is to operate a safe and enjoyable
marina. Thank you for your cooperation.
